I have windows xp and the laptop is a year old. It does not look like I can swap it out easily but I am not to familiar with these things.

I have a hp laptop and was wondering if anyone could give any suggestions. The cd/dvd rom drive will eject for no reason. Also, the computer sometimes has a hard time recognizing dvd's or cd's that I put in it.
