Did you have to bring any ropes for Ding & Dang? I have gotten mixed reports.

    I hate Craigslist Lowballers...

Any time someone compares their listing price to the new price, I ask if they are offering free shipping to my house, free returns and exchanges, and a warranty. Because that's what I get with new stuff!

I used this one: https://www.fastwaytrailer.com/e2-hitch Looks like it's pretty similar to the Blue Ox.

All the more reason to take care of your issues yourself, quietly. I try not to involve the .gov at all, for anything. My business is mine, stay away unless you have a warrant please. No, I don't need an inspection on my shed thank you.

Is that a 2800BHS? I pulled one of those for a lot of miles with my f150. And then we lived in it for 11 months when we moved to AZ. I never felt like it pushed me around, no matter the weather. What hitch are you using?

    Road Trip Camp Recommendations

This. Hwy 50 is awesome. I'd love to spend a couple of days traveling it. It's amazing to drive all the way across Nevada and only see a handful of cars on the road. We went over an hour sometimes without seeing another car.

    Political So now what

I keep hearing the argument that we need to fix the immigration process before we prevent illegal border crossings. I agree they are both issues, but they are separate issues. FIRST prevent the illegal crossings (very quick process), THEN fix the immigration system (much longer process).

General Tech What did you work on Today?

Installed a kickstand on my son's KTM 125sx. We had a kickstand in my parts stash, sourced a bracket from a 2004 EXC and made a mount from some steel. Welded it on and drilled a hole for the spring. Voila! It works great. No more finding a tree or something to lean the bike on.

This is exactly why I love turbos. Low end torque for days makes for good drivability.

    Political So now what

We need to get rid of the parties and specifically the party primaries and just have a general primary to whittle down the candidates and then a final election. Then all the middle of the roaders would have a voice instead of being forced to choose the "lesser of 2 evils".

I think what you are talking about is trail? https://bikeinsights.com/cyclopedia/trail This will change for a given caster angle as tire size changes.

    Proud father moments

My 14yo son found a dead tree in the forest behind the house, cut it up, hauled the logs, split and stacked them over the weekend. He only needed a little help splitting a few of the really tough ones.

How nit-picky are you with contractors

I'm honestly impressed with his response. That has not been my experience with most contractors (which is why I rarely use them anymore). Either they are great and don't need to be nit picked, or they do crap work and expect you to be happy about it. Good on him and definitely deserves a good...

General Tech What did you work on Today?

Worked on the rusted out tractor wheel. First I went over the whole thing with the needle scaler: Then I started cutting to get back to good metal. Then started welding in patches. When I started this project it seemed straightforward in my head, but it turns out that...
