I've been up here in my older YJ with a 2" lift. We call that stretch of road the "rock garden". I got through but it took awhile! :)

Hey everyone, Thanks for all the good advice. I'm at least glad to know that $1,000 is reasonable and I wasn't considering a foolish price. The actual mileage is about 2,500 miles. All this so my daughter can have a jeep to go 'mudding' in....now where would she get these ideas??? ;)...

As a woman who usually wheels alone, I gotta say this is very cool! :D Fabulous idea! My dad didn't take me jeepin', but he did take me hiking and fishing at a young age. Special times.

I agree, amazing that he was right on the trail when the rangers had been looking for him. You must have been meant to be there at that moment. :) I bet your kids will never forget THIS trip! Saving a life is a pretty awesome thing! :) Very cool story!

Fins and things was the very first jeep trail I ever went on too! I was in my 92 YJ with 2" lift and didn't even know enough to put it in 4-low - I didn't know I should air down either! But I was so excited and made it through and have been hooked ever since! You're gonna love jeepin - and...

I'm offering a couple pics of myself on this trail last June, on the chute and also on the ledge posted previously. The chute is a blast...no problem at all. I have the shortest wheelbase for the Rubi (TJ model), 4" lift and 33's...I did fine. I will say people longer than me did hit their back...

I'm interested in going. Glad to see some other girls will be along, too. I've been there before, but it is worth going again. I just need to make sure the budget will cover it. I may be eating Ramen all 4 days. :D

I have really been wanting to get to this museum....and this sounds like a great idea! I have to drive down after work (from Cache Valley), but I'm definitely going to try to make this one. :)

I've been to the rock garden myself...and have the missing paint to prove it! :)
