Tread Lightly! is partnering with our local Moab BLM office to conduct a large service project during Jeep Safari. They will be meeting at 7:45 am on Wednesday 4/16 in the shopping plaza parking lot across from the BLM offices on Dogwood Ave.

The service project will be taking place on the Poison Spider trail, which being one of the most popular trails in the Moab area has unfortunately received a lot of trail widening and unfortunate damage, to mitigate further damage they will be installing route markers along the trail and restoring disturbed vegetation in the area.

Stock or modified rigs will work for Poison Spider trail, depending on the skill level of the driver. Plan on working all day, and returning to town by 5pm or so (trail traffic dependent). A light breakfast, lunch, and water will be provided to all volunteers.

Gifts and raffles for 4WD prizes will be offered to all volunteers.

Any interested volunteers email: Jason@treadlightly.org to be placed on our “wait” list and he’ll follow up when he knows how many people they can invite with the individuals listed.

If you're available on Wed., I'll see you on Poison Spider to support Tread Lightly. All the cool kids will be here or at Potato Salad Hill in the mornings
