I worked with TreadLightly/BLM last year on the Poison Spider Mesa service project. It was a good opportunity and a good day. I'm on an EJS trail this year for March 31 or I'd sign up again. Treadlightly is quite interested in getting some volunteers if you are interested.

Project Description – Construct approximately one half of a mile of fencing along Sevenmile Rim Trail and around Wipe Out Hill to keep the area looking natural and to help clearly identify the trail in order to protect the public’s access and opportunities to enjoy this very popular trail and scenic overlook. Most of the fencing will be erected using t-posts and wire, except around Wipe Out Hill where buck and rail fence will be built for a more aesthetically pleasing look and to not obstruct the scenic view. Following the fence installation, volunteers will be invited to finish with a ride on Sevenmile Rim.

I told them I was on a trail as well and that they need to get this info out sooner so that we can make plans for it instead of just dropping it when everyone already has plans.
