On location at Pit 2A, pitting for Utah local Dusty Sexton in 4437

Scherer started out front and had a ~7 min lead coming into 2A, they are working what appears to be cooling and several rigs have slipped by including Shannon Campbell whom is now in the lead with 3-4 minute gap about of the pit.

4437 Low on trans fluid, no forward gears, got it into 3rd gear and just made it to pit 1

Miller for the win!

Sorry for the hiatus, ended up at pit 2B which is a black hole for phone and Internet.

We (4437) had some injection issues that were preventing the team from getting up the big sand dunes on the back side of the rock section. The plug was pulled and we tucked tail to camp, stopping by Back Door to see the final competitor roll through there on his lap lap before the obstacle went cold.

The Sexton 4437 team did a great job, had a great rig ready for the race but fell victim to some random trans failure that you just can't attribute to anything other than racing.
