I passed this onto the SLCO canyon patrol, I'm headed up to summit county here in a bit to look at a property in the boonies. I'll keep an eye out

Ran the Israel Canyon loop, didn't do any of the spur roads looking, lots of territory with side roads but it's kind of a shot in the dark without knowing a direction.

He found out he had a disease that eats your brain and he couldn't deal with it so he thought he would take his own life. Problem is he didn't think about what that does to the people he leaves behind. Rough deal. I can't imagine how he was feeling

Not to be insensitive, but it sounds like a 'die-later slowly and painfully or die now while you're still in control of your life' situation. Can't say I blame the guy. :(

Something similar happened to a cousin of mine. He had been fighting a condition which restricted oxygen to his brain for a couple years. He was only getting something like 72% of what the brain needs, and the doctors and specialists couldn't find an answer. He eventually took the same route. Same age as me. He was a wonderful man.

The way to do this is to get some life insurance and have an accident where you wind up at the bottom of a deep cliff. Leave those you love with some moola
