My '94 F350 IDI 4X4 has developed some slop in the RH upper ball joint.

The joints are original and have survived 159k miles with some impressive hauls on them.

I found an old thread on P4X4 discussing the XRF joints, it looks like Herzog and mbryson may have purchased some. I would be OK buying MOOG but they have become such a crapshoot as to what you are actually getting in the box.

Where do you guys recommend I buy Spicer BJ's?

Any experience with the XRF joints?

I think I did purchase some for my beloved Dodge. They worked fine for a few months or so that I had the truck after doing ball joints (and other stuff)

Last week I got around to swapping out my old joints. The 2 uppers were quite loose and the lowers were not far behind.

The XRF units pressed in nicely and the serrations made for a solid, slop free fit. They are beefy and come with a selection of straight and 90* zerks. They also include a grease plug and spare snap rings.

The Ford is back to driving tight again.
