2001 Rav4 No Codes, won't start

Ok, Mom's little Rav4 just stopped on her and we towed back to dad's.

2001 Rav4 2.0 Auto 195K

It will turn over, but not start.

No Codes show up on the OBDII.

So I am wondering if its fuel related?, timing chain?,

Any help is appreciated.

Check for fuel, compression & spark... does it turn over REAL easy, like there's no compression? Could be a broken timing belt, leaving valves to stick open. There may be a easily removable cover on the timing belt, pull the cover and see what the belt looks like. There might be a schrader valve on the fuel line, would be easy to check pressure there. If it sounds like it has compression, then pull a plug and check for spark.

If you still aren't sure, get into the intake and spray come starting fluid in, then turn it over... that'll tell you if it's a fuel supply issue.

Is it an interference motor? If so.... $$$$
