Who's in? I know it's short notice, but I'm serious, let's get a team going. I have a '64 Scout I bought for $250 but we probably don't have time to get it on the road. Anyone have a running sub-$500 truck and want to beat it up?

There's no entrance fee, no vehicle requirements except it has to be bought for less than $500. All we need is to get a truck running and get it to the starting line.

get 3 guys to go in on it for $135 each and I'd bet he'd sell it.

Id offer up my $300 civic I bought from Skippy but I'm not sure it would handle the course ha. I did take it on some pretty gnarly trails down at Fish lake though lol. Came home with the muffler in the trunk

That date is terrible for me, but this sounds fun. :)

A few options I found with a quick search:

http://www.ksl.com/auto/listing/3494051?ad_cid=24

Truck seems like a good option. Bad rear end, but that might be a really easy fix depending on what's wrong. (and I have a truck-bed trailer that likely has the same rear end for swappin' parts)

Tahoe. Who needs reverse anyway?

ZJ...there are several ZJ's that fit the criteria on KSL right now.

Here's another possible ZJ:

And I have a 9" that would swap right in that truck ;) 800 might be a little difficult to talk down to 500 though. Definitely bargaining power with the rear axle being bad.

Terrible for me too, I work that weekend. I'm going to have to do some serious sweet talking to get out of it.

We could rob 35s from the Bastard to throw on the front. I like this truck.

Carl has probably seen this one, it's sitting in a field a couple blocks from his house. No price on it, but if I had this rusty pile sitting in my field I'd definitely take $500 for it.

UNSTUCK

But stuck more often.
I don't do Facebook so someone give me the rundown. I can make that date work and can help with purchase and prep.

This is everything that's posted on the Utah Gambler 500 facebook page. They're missing several numbers, I don't know if that's on purpose or what. I don't see a rule set on the main Gambler500 web site, so we'll have to contact them for more details. I get the distinct impression they're running this thing by the seat of their pants.

^ those pics aren't showing up on my phone, anybody else have trouble seeing them?

I got an answer about the rules, he says he cribbed them from another site and 3 4 6 and 7 were stupid. :rofl:tmp_23026-Screenshot_20170204-145337-183119821.png
