Promontory Point/Spiral Jetty

FYI for anyone trying to get to Spiral Jetty, be prepared for water crossings.

This is about 2 miles down N. Rozel Flats Rd. The Subaru in the picture turned back after the water level got to mid-bumper height. Still not sure how they didn't stall it, but they managed to turn around and get out before it dawned on me to grab my camera.

There is a lot of flooding in box Elder County right now.

My buddy lives up there. His jeep group decided to not run the trans continental railroad (it was flooded in areas) and did pony express instead.

a FB post today said it was flooded last week, but a ford focus did it this week.

I went out today. Dry as a bone on the roads out there. Lots of flooded fields.
