I had a water heater malfunction (I think it is a malfunction when the drain valve blows off while no one is home and water runs out all over the floor for hours on end.......also causing the burner to run for the same unknown period of time:rolleyes:). So anyway, I pulled the carpet up and chucked the pad. After it drys (sometime this weekend or early next week I anticipate) I would like to have someone come put down new pad and re-stretch the carpet. Anyone on here do this? It is one room that measures about 18'x13'. It is mostly a rectangle with one corner cut off (fireplace) and a little jog where the stairs come down. I can get some pics if needed. Post here, PM, call or text if you are interested. Thanks.

Mine wasn't quite that bad, the water heater stayed put. My new heater has a brass drain valve instead of the stupid plastic one that my old one had.
