  • 2002 Chevy 2500 HD Extended Cab & Shortbed 4x4, has the bigger 6.0 LQ4 engine, heavy duty 4L80E transmission, t-case, axles and brakes.
  • Has a 2.5" lift, 34" BFGoodrich AllTerrain KO2 tires, new Bilstein 9100 shocks, new windshield, etc. Has a K&N air filter and HID headlights. The truck has a dent on the pass side door and the seat has a hole in it, on the drivers side. Doesn't have any leaks. Has a round 7 pin trailer plug and beefy hitch.
  • The LS package has power windows and locks, A/C and heat work great, cruise control works good. Has a transmission temp gauge on the dash, which is great for monitoring while towing and has tow mirrors that extend out as wel
  • I have been using it to tow my Jeep and it pulls very well. I've driven it to Denver & SLC without issue and all over the state.

I've had it on FB and CL for awhile, but getting tired of people wasting my time, making low ball offers. This truck is NOT perfect, it was used as a Ranch truck before I got it and it's been beat up quite a bit. It has some exhaust leaks (I have new FelPro manifold gaskets) and I have a new set of AC Delco spark plugs, for a tune up. It works fine, but is dirty inside and had more than average wear & tear. I'm just not sure about how reliable it will be over time, that said it's been perfectly reliable for me.

Everything works, but the t-case has the known pump wear issue. I patched it up with JB Weld and it's holding fine at this point. There's a hole in the drivers side seat cushion. It needs the door hinge bushings replaced (air noise from drivers door), I have both a new hinge pin kit and all new hinges, not sure which one would be easier. The tires are pretty low on tread, they'd probably last another 10k miles, but wouldn't be great thru the Winter. There's a good sized dent in the passenger side door, PO must have ran into a fence post or something? The windows are slow to roll up, the tint seems to be a bit scratched up. The center console lid doesn't open. The check engine light comes on, usually at higher speeds, running downhill... I think it's due to the exhaust leaks screwing up the O2 sensor readings. I tried pulling codes, but get nothing. The PO installed glass packs ( :puke: ) so it's pretty loud.

197k miles.

Did I scare away potential buyers with my total honesty? X-D Look at this truck as a low-buck tow rig that you can fix up a little at a time, but is ready to go as-is.

I drove this last week for work, put around 800 miles on it driving in the Colorado mountains and over the passes, in the snow to Denver & back. No problems, handled it all with ease.
