I was just thinking about this and figured I'd update it to add the couple nights I missed. This was another fun year that got me to a bunch of new places that I hadn't been to before. Hitting Arch Canyon and Hotel Rock with WC early on set the mood for lots more great trips. The best of the year was my trim to Colorado though, it was an amazing trip with many great memories. The negative I came away with this year was how many things I had clustered in July and August. Its just how things worked out and I didn't have control over timing on a lot of them but it left me exhausted and my boss at work questioning my absence. I'm not in scouts anymore and I'm not sure that another Colorado trip will work this year so I'm wondering how things will play out but I've had a couple really great years and expect more of the same in 2018.
