Anybody else following this? Rumor has it it's coming to North America. Live axle front and rear, unibody with stiffening partial frames (dunno what that means?), two door, four door, and pickup models, with an optional convertible top? And a 300HP V6? I'm intrigued. Maybe I can sell a kidney for the down payment.

Totally Awesome
Supposed to be the entry level Land Rover.

Its supposed to have a ladder frame with stiffening sections. Live axles front and rear. They are planning on a 4 door, crewcab and the one above.

I'll be it'll come with the TD6 and a V8 option.

Prices are supposed to be from $30K to $60K with options.

If I get rid of my truck, I'll buy one. Used of course.

It's a Land Rover, of course it'll have leather and I'd be very willing to bet those other options as well.

Not all Land Rover's, BMW's or Mercedes have leather. Just the ones sold in the USA to snobby rich people. I'm not rich or snobby, I just like leather. Its much easier to clean up.

If you are in Europe you can buy any european vehicle without all the Luxuries. I've seen Mercedes with cloth seats and hub caps. Its so weird.

I'll only buy one if I can get a shotgun where the stock matches the wood grain on the dash. :)

Joking aside, I am digging that red one but would pass on the 2 door.
