I bought this set in November and it works great. It comes with a 80 grit diamond plate, then 320, 500, 1k, 5k, and 6k shapton glass stones. I've also bought the small knife plate and the magnet to help hold the blade in place. I do a lot of woodworking with hand tools and while this works great for knifes its less ideal for hand plane blades and chisels. I ended up getting a tormek for Christmas as well so this is redundant. I typically sharpie the edge of the blade before I start to sharpen so there is red thats transferred to the stones. Seems like red sharpie was the one I could find at the time.
