Wanted 4runner with a 22re (for a friend)

Before you all get excited, I'm looking for a friend. I let him drive my rig in moab last week, and now he wants a 4runner (he was sold on Chevy and Ford prior to Moab). It's his first vehicle, and he's strapped for cash.

I know it's a long shot, but here's what we're looking for:

4runner with a 22re, 5 speed
IFS ok
Price limit is $2k.

Lemme know what you got. We don't want a project, and he's not very mechanically inclined, so reliability is the #1 goal right now. We'll worry about a sas and all that later.

It would be a lot cheaper for him to spend a little more now, and get a non-project that's finished.

I'll see what he can do. he's dirt poor and doesn't have a job. I was honestly surprised that he could afford $2k.
