Its a jeep so thats a pro. V8 is nice also. No cons to list....well its not a wrangler

The early WJ's had problems with the disk brakes warping. There were also a few other minor quirks associated with the first production year of a vehicle. Otherwise, it's a great motor, a good camping machine, and can be built reasonably well for difficult trails.
