DR650's are the mules of the ADV bike world, not the prettiest or most fancy ride, but damn they work!

I really liked my wr250r. Had quite a few adventures on it. Almost no maintenance needed. Not exactly an adv bike, but I'd take it over the KLX300 or the DR650.

The WR250R is a cool bike, especially if it has KTM footpegs 
. I happen to have it's predecessor, the TTR250 . Way better for dirt but considerably worse for any highway miles than a DR650. It is blue though so Brian will obviously like it.

I wouldn't want a 300 or any other single cylindered bike on the highway doing 65 let alone nearly 100.

I am going to be thinning the heard a little bit next year and I think I need to take that money and buy an adventure bike. I am considering doing what Mike Knight did and buy a KTM 500 or Husky 502.......but may still may stay the traditional route of a 690

I finally pulled the 890 Adventure R out and took it up on the fire break above Farmington to stretch both of our legs. It felt good to get back on it. I’m anxious for a ride
