Thanks guys, I've had this image in my head of how I wanted it to turn out and it's nice to actually see it coming together.

Came home to a big pile of boxes from ruff stuff specialties on my porch a couple 1.25" heim joints and a couple brackets were on back order so I'm still waiting on those but I can get started on the front suspension now. Oh and I won a customer contest so they sent me a shirt a hat a coozie and a million stickers. Also I got a 20% off coupon. Very cool.

These little guys showed up today after being on backorder for a couple weeks

So a couple things happened today.. 1st I bought a new truck to haul the jeep around when its done. But also this thing rolled out of the garage today! No springs in the front yet. I still need to build coil towers. I'm going to pull a leaf or two out of the rear springs to drop it down a couple inches. But we are getting there!

No, I'm going to build something else. Its on my long list of stuff to do on this thing.

Got a little time in on the jeep today. I fabbed up a couple coil spring towers. Just some 6x6 angle and some 2inch tube. Still needs some gussets but it is now on it's own weight in the front. Next up I need to build a track bar and maybe I'll tackle the steering after that.

Thanks, the springs I have now are stock xj cherokee springs. I'm going to run them for now and see how I like the spring rate then decide if I want to go another route.

Looks great. My first build was a Willy's. Had alot of good times in it. Willy's are about my favorite jeep.
