I have Tannus inserts in my tires. Over 600 miles of riding in the dirt and not a single flat related to thorns (recently had one where a valve stem separated from the tube). Pulled out a few thorns too. 100% would recommend. If it is thorns, I hear Tannus Armor inserts are unstoppable.
I have the 2021 Giant TRANCE X E+ PRO 29 1 large frame and a 2021 Giant STANCE E+ 1 Medium frame, both are right at about 53 lbs. The downhill is amazing and the weight really makes them feel planted. How much do your ebikes weigh @rholbrook? I've heard some are upwards of 70 lbs. That is more than 2x what my bike weighs. Wonder how it feels on the downhills? I'd like one in a lot of respects and I don't agree with trail restrictions on them. If you're pedaling, you're welcome in my book. But I don't plan on getting on because not having it forces me to really work to get my butt up the hill. Then I get the reward of downhill.
I'd be game. Any of corner canyon is descent. The end of the season is fast approaching though.I have the 2021 Giant TRANCE X E+ PRO 29 1 large frame and a 2021 Giant STANCE E+ 1 Medium frame, both are right at about 53 lbs. The downhill is amazing and the weight really makes them feel planted.
I am hoping @Gravy chimes in on the downhill feel of it. I took him up for a ride and he was amazed at how much fun they were. I will bring them down @RockChucker and we can go for a ride down in your neck of the woods. I am always game to ride.
That was one of my favorite days on the bike. Thanks for all the great content guys. I'm ready for another challenge once your marriages have recovered.
Only from Kokopelli down, which is fine with me. I'm in my winter form (read fat and out of shape). It was super windy though. Some of the porcupine road was a challenge. We did 65 miles in 2 days, which is also a challenge in my winter form.TWE was open and no snow?
