anyone ever tear into a stick tranny?

i was wondering if anyone has tore one down on there own and how tough it was?i've got 2 that don't seem like they would be to much to fix.also i was wondering if anyone knew a place to get a trany shop manual?thanks

get the manual and get some gear pullers and a press. that is all you need. i did my zuk tranny in an afternoon. it was tough but i paid attention and everything is still working more that a year later....to be continued!!

yep get a good manual and go at it. If it's your first time it helps to take pictures along the way that way during reassembly if you forget how something was you can look at the picture. But it's a simple process

I knew a guy who knew nothing and he tore down his tranz on a toy with a little help. It works still. fith gear would whine or whatever........
