I just got great news today via text.
The Pontiac owners club is doing a carshow in conjunction with the Angle Hands carshow at Copperton Park.
This is a awesome park with plenty of shade .
The date is ;;; Saturday July 15 , 9a.m. to 3p.m.
We will be parking all the Pontiac's together no matter what year, model, shiney or rusty. Bring yours out.

At any rate, I have arranged to take the 15th off work. If any of you have Pontiacs and you want them to look really good, just come park next to mine.

Great, my turn signals decided to blow a fuse.

What a great day. Thanks to TurbMinivan for coming up from lehi with his Pontiac. Im sure he'll post some pics.
Funny how these 2 were almost the same color.

The announcer said that ultimately over 200 cars had shown up and registered. There was a nice mix of vehicles: lots of muscle cars, some older from the 50s and on back into the 20s (!), a small variety of trucks, a few Jeeps including one CJ5 and one KJ, some rat rods, a Lamborghini, and even one sole JDM (RHD) ricer. Thankfully, not all cars present were showroom perfect with pristine paint. There were a number of vehicles with patina, and that's great.

I spoke to the guy with the '73 Plymouth Satellite that had a nice looking, well-built 440 underhood. He has owned his car since 1979 but this was his first car show with it! He said he never comes to shows because he drives his car regularly and the body is clearly rough around the edges, so he is afraid he'll get laughed off the lawn. I told him to ignore the haters and keep coming to the shows.

Anyway, it was a fantastic turnout.

I really liked this Buick. So simple, so clean, and it had factory bucket seats with a floor shift/console.
