I was talking to a co-worker who also wheels today, and he shared this company with me: www.audiointerrupt.com I had been looking for a solution like this for years, and unfortunately I may be too close to EJS to get it before heading down. Long story short, I have a Cobra 75WXST which doesn't do a great job at being loud enough to enable you to hear transmissions from the speaker while driving an open top rig at any sort of speed. I installed an external speaker, and that helped marginally, but still nowhere where i'd like it to be. The company above allows you to connect the external speaker jack from CB or HAM transceivers and runs it through your stereo speakers. They make plug and play applications supposedly from YJ era on up. Has anyone had experience with this company or product? I thought it was a great idea, and am a little surprised that it isn't more mainstream as this was the first I had heard about it, and seemingly very little info online about it.
