Has anyone else read this?

I read it a few months ago & always wanted to see his interview with Tom Brokaw. I finally caught it a couple nights ago on TV... it was ok, but the book conveyed the actual events much better. It's amazing to read how Arons thought process eventually led him to cut off his arm, even though he tried more than once without success.

yeah thats crazy i dont think i could cut my arm off. but you do crazy things to live.

I've read it. I bought the book a few months ago. It is a good read.

That's a crazy story. I don't think I'd have the guts to do it myself, but I'm sure your survival mechanisms are harder at work when you're out of food and water and trapped.
