I haven't had time to read through it.. But is a public shooting range going to allow my children age 4, and 6 to shoot?? I doubt it.

If this pulls all the people off the hill behind me and sends them another 15 miles down the road I'm in favor of it.

2.2.3.1 Day to Day Operation
The Soldier Pass Public Shooting Range is intended to be a self-serve, self-policing, honor system type facility as there would be no daily supervision at the range. It is also anticipated that the range would also be used for group events and hunter education/safety courses during which there would be supervision at the site. As mentioned in previous sections, there would be ample signing at the range listing the rules, prohibitions, safety tips and other information to the using public. The objective is to provide a well-designed facility that is user friendly which would encourage shooters to use the range as opposed to random less desirable sites.

Just a heads up tomorrow BLM has a meeting at the Talons Cove Golf Course for the closures/Gun range at 6PM.
