Checking Flex Joint

Quick questions. I have a clunk in the wife long arm lift and want to check the flex joints. Do you thing I can just pull off one arm at a time with the jeep sitting on the ground? Or, do I have to jack everything up and remove that way?

Just wondering if anyone has done this.

Thanks,

I took off all 8 of my Currie short arms and serviced all the Johnny Joints just recently. That's pretty much how I did it. One fairly important detail though to make the job go easier and faster. As the axle moves in an arc and the arms constrain that arc, there is really only one point in the travel that the bolts will freely go in and out. To make things easier, jack up the corner you are working on and move it up or down wherever it needs to be in order to remove the bolt easily with your fingers. Then leave it there until you put that arm back on.
