You and every one else. I've already sold 100$ worth of them. I was practicing with some basic shapes, Stars, squares etc.. . and i thought i just as well practice on some thing useful/sell-able.

Hey Cory. I followed you over from the link you posted on pirate. My build is the one you linked on garage forums. I have to say man, you did a very nice build.
I'm still waiting for the time to put the finishing touches on mine so I'm not running just yet, but I'm really close. It's pretty obvious you have much better fab skills and equipment than I did when I built mine. It was a learning process for me. Hell I just started welding last year about 6 months before I bought the parts to build the table. All I have left to do is mount and wire the limit and home switches and figure out how to hook up the DTHC and feather touch stuff. It's been a brutal summer here and work has been hell. Honestly I don't have anyone to blame but myself. I hope to get up and running soon though. Your build is an inspiration.
I didn't even think about using the 3" tubes to run my wires through. I snaked them through the 1x3 tube with some difficulty but it made it. I'm looking forward to following your process through the learning curves to making money. What are your plans for the table?

Thank you sir. I'm very DIY (Cheap) when it comes to anything i'm capable of learning/doing. Seeing the other threads really gave me the motivation to try it for myself.
I still haven't set up the DTHC yet. . . I have been too busy needing the table now$$$ and I have only been cutting thick small parts where i don't need it as much. I had never used a CAD program till after the table was complete. I'm very familiar with 3 sided mechanical drawings so that has made the CAD much easier to digest. I have learned so much in the last 2 months that my head hurts.:wtf:
The plans now are to get really familiar with it and the programming. After that it is to keep it running making $ weather it be one off parts, production parts, artsy parts, my own manufactured parts. What ever brings the $. Its a big table with a big plasma. I didn't want to limit myself. When it comes to metal fabrication bigger is always better.

The tool box is bolted to the plasma table and is part of it now. The gantry clears it when i need to park it out of the way to load full 5x10 sheets.

I have a vacation scheduled for Labor Day Week next month. Hopefully I'll be able to put in a few full days on it then and make some good progress. There really isn't too much more to do. Your business model sounds a lot like ours. Keep churning stuff out until we find something that puts money in our pockets and then beat the hell out of it.

Ran a whole sheet of 3/16 today. She ran flawless. Each one of those small circle cut outs had a hexagon cut in them first.

Frame fish plates for a AWD 1972 buick skylark project a good friend of mine(Same guy with 72 skylark with a 6bt) is doing and some misc. panel tabs to reduce material waste. Its 0* in my shop right meow as you can tell by the iced over water table. Hit the run button and went inside while it cut.

I let a friend borrow my portaband with my small table i built a fews ago for a small fab project he was doing. He loved it so much he bought a portaband and had me fab him a table. They are the handiest little things.
The plasma loves PO steel. If there is any dross on the back side i can usually just scrap off with a paint scrapper of drop it on the floor once.
I installed a float valve to keep the water level up and sprayer to clean parts off. Ignore the science fair looking crust i got going. Its washing soda i put in the water to keep it from rusting the steel. It gets splashed out and dries leaving the soda behind.

Some stuff from the table over the years. I checked my invoices and i have made 451 semi trailer mud flap brackets over the years. Each one with 4 holes and two bends. Those alone have payed for the table. I try to run it as much as i can. Sadly my full time job gets in the way of making real money lol.

Still cutting parts. Wish I could run it 8 hrs a day. I'd only have to work 1 day a week if i could. Here's a pic of my tumbler i built shortly after i built the table. It turns electricity into noise. But seriosly it's tolerable since its ligned with conveyor belting. Steel parts i just toss in there and turn on the timer switch for an hr and forgot about them.
