Easiest way to "weigh" the sprung weight, is to put a coil on each shock and measure how much that coil compresses. Assuming you know the spring rate of that coil, that gives you an accurate measurement of the spring rate you need.

I remember my first time. 3 weeks ago. I haven't heard from them since.

Every day I check my mailbox.

Something.

Anything.

Nothing.

I can't help you but hopefully the guy who spec'd my shocks knew what he was doing. We'll find out how close when mine arrive.

When does the YROC Fab.com webstore go live?

That's a long weight for springs. See what I did? I feel your pain.

Well if Hitlery wins maybe sooner rather then later.

Lololololllolooo your so clever. I need to order shafts. I suspect there will be a long lead time on them as well.

Damn it, hiball the shafts. Run some junk stuff. Run some pto stock and some sort of implement joint from a local farmers tractor or from a udot mower deck. Leash up your cat. Something.

Leash up my cat?:wtf: Stock option is out since i shorten the long side of the axle. No hurry now. Got my lead time on my springs. .. . . ... Mid January. PAC is in the middle of moving to another state.:(

I was going to order my shafts 2 fridays ago but before i had a chance to order them i got a call from a good friend that helped me get my foot in the door to bid on a bunch of industrial maintenance tooling before anyone else in a giant vacant plant they are demoing in my little valley.:brett: So i blew my shaft wad and then some on all the goodies.

So with springs coming in late, no shaft coin, and KOH around the corner I have decided it wont be done till after koh. The springs killed it for me I wanted time to do some good shake down runs before I worried about finding a bigger trailer to haul two buggies down there. Kind of glad they did so i was able to secure this tooling. I will Post some pics of my bounty after i make a few more trips to haul it all home. :D

ps my shop is getting awfully small.

Dang that's a pretty cool deal. I always hear about them but have ever been in on one, although a machine shop tossed a perfectly good finger brake outside 4 months ago and I've been bugging them....That will ultimately plug my garage up for good if aquired. Cold temps and nowhere to move around = haven't done a damn thing to mine.

The phone number is 555-stfu. Ask for stay away from my sheet metal market. Lol. It's big. Like a 60"+ brake with the big buoy counter weights. That would eat all of the space between crawler and work bench/tool boxes.

Heater is rigged up butttttttt until today I didn't have a plan or motivation.
