I'd buy that. Can you two smarty-pants tell me why?

There was nothing wrong with the old set up. I just wanted to get all the steering my RCVs were capable of getting and the old 8inch ram wasnt going to let that happen and I didn't like how low and outboard I had originally mounted if. I was ordering the new rams for my new buggy and decided to buy a 3rd one and upgrade the single seater while I was at it and I have that friend with that fj buggy that wants my old ram so it's all working out.

I'm much happier with how tight it steers now. With my corrected factory Ackerman I get 41* on the inner tire and 36* on the outer. I would like the Ackerman to be changed so the both would be 41* but I'm not going to mess with that on these king pin axles. On the bronco we set it up so the outer tire turned sharper because when crawling most of the weight is transferred to the outer tire.

Remounted and repaired my winch. A couple of years a go i winched something really hard and it bent the mount i had a built a bit. It also broke the cast aluminum ear off the one side of the winch. The winch still worked fine being compromised so i haven't bothered messing with it till now. The fair lead mount was also bent all to hell from using it as a suck down. The new mount is cnc plasma cut 1/4" plate with 1/8 sides, the old juan was 3/16 and all cut by hand.

I mounted my fair lead up side down to get it tucked in there tighter and because it is stronger this way with the more materiel thickness on bottom where it gets stressed for a suck down. And i should get a chuckle out of my flip off face in the event of a roll over.

I bumped my head and bruised my arm and leg. Rear of the chassis Is slightly tweaked. it's going on a frame rack later this week. It's old asphalt that's usually pretty covered in gravel. I've drifted it hundreds of times. This time the stickies stuck.
Glad you are ok...

Good luck getting the rig back together.

Bent a mirror and the other one just broke the bolt. I straighten out the bent one. Steering wheel was bent and we straightened it too. It tore a radiator hose from the rear of the chassis being shifted a inch. And the light bar tubery might not be savable this time but the light bar still works. 20201003_205940.jpg20201003_212640.jpg20201004_061620.jpg20201004_061612.jpg20201004_061703.jpg20201004_061644.jpg20201004_061629.jpgreceived_333625574529489.jpeg
