Anyone else on here been watching the two seasons of Downton Abbey on PBS's Masterpiece Theater. I have thoroughly enjoyed the series about British life before, during, and after WW1 in a massive aristocratic house and grounds named Downton Abbey. The lives of the servants, posh aristocrats, and the vivid interactions between the two classes are covered in a mesmerizing very visual period piece. Season 2 just ended last Sunday night and now I have to wait months before season 3 starts. Season 1 last year was the better of the two seasons but both are tremendous. The characters of which there have been many are well acted and well fleshed out for the most part be they good, evil, or somewhere in between. I have been watching Masterpiece Theater and Masterpiece Mystery for many, many years on PBS. Almost all are British productions and are a great window into British life during many different periods of time.
