Fall Fishing

Anyone else get torn between hunting and fishing this time of year?

I have been out hunting ducks/geese, grouse and deer, but yesterday I had a fantastic day on the river. It makes me want to toss the guns in the safe and leave them there. (except my boys wouldn't approve)

I love fall. Yesterday I caught 25 fish in four hours. 8-9 brown trout over 20". It was a riot.

I love fishing this time of year. Seems like everyone else is either hunting, at church or watching football so the last few sundays my daughter and I have had the whole res/lake to ourselves. Good times

There are some whoppers down there. I had an uncle that retired down there, he was possessed by the big fish in that lake.

I was out yesterday catching fish and saw this in the morning.

The water was crystal clear, and the sky was cloudy. The sky in the water was phenomenal. I've never seen anything like this.
