Well, it’s that time again and we are gearing up for our big 4th of July event during the Freedom Festival. This year we are planning bigger than ever and it should be an amazing event. If you’ve never been out to this before you should definitely plan on coming. This is one of the largest interactive U.S. Militaria events in the country and has something for everyone. You’ll see vehicles and equipment representing every war in the 20th century, plus there are activities and events for the whole family as we pay tribute to those who served and sacrificed for the cause of freedom throughout the years. We are always looking for volunteers both before and during the event especially. We will be setting up July 1st, and tearing down on the afternoon of the 4th and on the 5th. We also have a prop build day planned for Memorial Day tomorrow. We need people both skilled and those just willing to help. We also welcome military vehicles and equipment, either donated or on lend for the display, and we are a 501c3 non-profit so any donations are tax deductible! This event, and others we put on during the summer take a massive amount of time and effort to put on and we can’t do it without volunteers. I guarantee we can find a place for your talents if you’re willing to lend them whether it’s for an hour or the whole shebang. That being said, whether you volunteer or not, come see us and celebrate our history during the 4th!
