well I changed the trackbar bushing and built a shock crossmember last night. I didn't get it full welded yet.
I'm going to try to get that done and get out of town by 10am

Delta was ridiculous. I cut a tire. bad. 25 plugs later and it kinda held air... until I rubbed the sidewall on stuff. I did well on all the courses my tire held air for, and 40'd on the rest of them...

I also stripped my steering shaft splines at the input of the steering box. welded those together for a temp fix.

Even though it wasn't scored by classes I'm pretty sure I got the quickest time in the rock race for the legends class at the Delta Old School Rock Crawl this year ;)

For my new Teraflex diff cover I won at a land use raffle. (Which was lucky because I peeled my diff cover open about 3 times that weekend in Delta).

Delta Old School in August was awesome. I was leading legends both days until I cracked my oil pan on the course #1 and it bumped me into 3rd.

SO.... we took home 3rd in Legends, But 1st place in the Rock Race!

welded my muffler back on and tried some exhaust tape to seal my crappy upsidedown blind overhead thin sheet metal welds

I'm bleeding the steering then on to swapping the oil pan.

my old steering box was leaking because one of the top bolts on the cap had stripped out.. weird huh?

Anyways I also swapped the oil pan.
The old one was beat up.
I realized that on the later TJ's (with 2 cats on the header) you have to unbolt the header to pull the pan... this sucked.

I welded on a piece of steel to the sump to protect it like I did with my Cherokee and when it cooled the weld must have pulled away, because it leaked like crazy. Stacie used a tube of black RTV and a bottle of "the right stuff" and it still leaked so we cleaned all the RTV off and used 3 sticks of JB quick stick to seal it...

and had a great time in St. George.

Pre heat. Weld. Peen and post heat.

I got the new knuckles on and all cleaned up and then ran the Lucas regional Race

pulled a nail out and it didn't even leak. Swampers for the win.

Built a new Panhard bar for OSRC 1.5" .25" wall DOM with 3/4" shank hiems. Should be solid.

And broke a rear 35 spline 4340 Yukon Chromolly full float D60 shaft in Delta:eek:

(This is last year)

Your one year behind thread makes me laugh when I see an update. You should probably just come wheeling and then post a current update. I bet everyone would be even more confused
