HELP Starter solenoid question

I'd just replace it with a couple ring terminals and a short section of wire. Don't bother trying to track down the actual part. Unless there's a chance that those are some sort of fusible link or something...

I was going to say that looks like a fuse to me, But I would take the Bryson approach and maybe just add a conventional fuse in that piece of wire or trace it back farther and see if its fused elsewhere.

It goes to the starter switch. It's the trigger wire from the switch to the solenoid.
I'm going to do some ring terminals with a piece of wire and a 30amp fuse. Might be too low but who knows. The strip of metal has no markings on it.
