Hide tanned

So now that Fox Valley has closed their doors, where can a person get deer hides tanned?

I know there is a place in payson that does it, look on ksl under taxidermy. I think there were a couple other places on there

Let us know if you find somewhere you like. I used to use Fox Valley for my deer skins as well. I had a bunch of bobcat, coyote and fox furs done at Moyle Mink Tannery in Idaho a few years ago, fair prices and excellent work. But I'm not sure if they do hair off tans like deer skins. I do my own fur tanning anymore, but don't have the equipment to do a proper hair off tan.

I had a fox skin tanned from a guy in South Jordan. Its been a few years and I can't remember the name of his company. I do remember finding him in the phone book, though.

u can get them tanned in grantsville

There is a place of business in Grantsville that is exceptional at tanning hides, but forgive me for I have forgotten the name.

Monarch Mountain does tanning, hes out of S. Jordan and he does a great job, and his prices are pretty good.

I had a buffalo hide done from a company in rupert idaho, furs for fun I think they are called. It turned out very nice and the price was very reasonable.
