High winds in SLC valley tomorrow

My work parking lot today.
Too much wind-blown debris for my staff to safely bring patients into the building plus frequent power loss, so closed up the clinic for the day.

I didn't bother tying down my trampoline, but I did flip it upside down so it shouldn't have any problems. BUT, like Kevin said--it's not all that windy here.

I'm in West Jordan and its damn windy here. One tree has been uprooted in my townhouse complex, garbage cans that people forgot to pull in last night are rolling through the streets.
I used to work in west jordan not far from the dannon plant. it was always windy. Every day.

I drove around during lunch by Liberty park. That area got ravaged. I scored some branches to try some spoon carving on but I'd rather have the trees not fall over.

I spoke too soon. One of my aspens was leaning hard and the roots were lifting so I cut about half of it off with a sawzall (metal blade too) and a hand saw so it hopefully won’t land on the fence.

In East Layton. Power blipped at 5am, then was out from about 6:30 to 8:30. Struggled after that but has remained on.

We've had trees/branches go down all morning. Watched the top 20' of a neighbor's pine tree snap off like a toothpick. Lost 5 panels of our wood fence over into the neighbors yard. Our curly/corkscrew willow looks horrible, stripped of leaves and multiple large branches broken. Oh, and my pos ramshackle shed doesn't have any more shingles.

Winds haven't let up. Strong sustained and brutal gusts.

Who had this on their 2020 Bingo?

Power still out here. Hard to get in and out because so many power lines down. Still assessing damage. There’s plenty but all things considered we got lucky. Some neighbors much worse big trees crunching roofs etc.

Sorry Dave. It's a bummer but you're right, lots of our neighbors are far worse off than us.
I had a tough time finding fuel, the Common Cents on 500W has gas and diesel.

Super sad to see about 10, eighty plus year old trees get wrecked. Im glad mine is still good, but 3 sides of fence, sheesh. I'm using the fj to block my side yard off from the looters

I lost a window. This street sign came off the post and cart wheeled about 50 yards down the street. Should I expect the city to pay for this? I live in Kaysville and my neighborhood got hit pretty hard but we got all the downed trees picked up. I have two trailers still full waiting to unload in the morning. I made 4 loadswith the dump trailer and a neighbor used my other trailer and made 3 loads in it butthere were a total of 6 trailers that made 3-4 loads each.
