I want to join Search and Rescue

Anyone part of Search and Rescue? What would you do if you were in Search and Rescue as in duties?

I looked into joining over here in Cache county a while back. I still really wouldn't mind but there seemed to be alot of stuff that you had to do first like background checks and stuff. But the biggest reason why I decided not to was all the time required. With 2 little girls and the wife, job, church.......I just couldn't see me having the time. But if you are in a different situation....I say go for it!
