Sorry for the late announcement. Haven’t been on for a long while. We are having a Vintage Jeep Rally up here in Pocatello. This weekend. Sand dunes and rocks Friday, Scenic trail and Jeep Show Saturday and a lava rock trail Sunday. There’s going to be some great vintage iron coming.

Vintage Jeep Rally. *Updated*

Friday August 17. 11 am Meet at Red Lobster(ish) in Pocatello. Trail day, Lake Channel Sand Dunes. This area is great for all Jeeps. The terrain has a lot of dunes, a natural bowl and some Rock areas to play in. The main parking at the sand dunes.

For people coming from the west meet at trail. 12:30

Saturday August 18. 9:30 am Meet at Lower Ross Park, gravel parking lot by the playground (far North side on South 2nd), Trailer parking available. Drive up Chinese Peak 2,000 verticale feet to The Blackrock Canyon loop. This starts right in town, gravel road and two track. Scenic trail with some steep rocky spots (downhill) great for all Jeeps.

2-6 PM Vintage Jeep Show in Lower Ross Park, focus will be on AMC era and older Jeeps, but others may be accepted depending on space. Ross Park is great for families it has a pool, zoo, skatepark and playgrounds. The Jeep show will be on the east side of South 2nd Ave, south of the zoo entrance, across from the baseball diamonds. Sunday August 19th 8:30 am, Shelly Rock Trail, meet at Red Lobster in Pocatello. This trail has mild to extreme rock crawling, stock vehicles could expect some scrapped undercarriage, rock rash and possible scratches. Please bring lots of water and sturdy shoes ( think lava rocks/cactus). We would also like to thank the fine folks from Snake River Offroaders that are going to escort us through the trail.

This event is geared to having fun, enjoying Jeeps and spending time with friends. It’s going to be family friendly. No Fees or registration, but let us know you are coming on this page.
