For Sale Isuzu 4BD1T turbo diesel and Holset 221W turbo

I'm selling my Isuzu 4BD1T, the truck it came out of had 130k miles on it and ran great.... was driving before it was pulled. The Isuzu 4BD1T is a mechanical, direct-injection 3.9l turbo diesel that is similar to the Cummins 4BT, but a bit smaller, quieter and runs with less vibration.

The engine does have a "remanufactured" tag on it, but I don't know when that would have been done. The engine is complete, minus the PS pump. Currently has a cover over the hole where the pump sat, so no debris gets inside. The stock turbo has no shaft play and feels tight, if that helps.


Also have a new Holset 221W turbo. I will only sell the turbo with the engine.

Ok, I didn’t realize you were selling together as a Combo

Does the holset you have match up as direct replacement for the engine you have because it look very different from the photos almost like you would have to do a custom configuration for the exhaust and oil fed/return lines

It's not intended for this engine in a factory application, I believe that turbo is meant for a Brazilian Cummins 4BT. It will take some tweaking and fitting to make work, but should bolt onto the stock exhaust manifold.
