I think the Rubicon is 7000, the Overland with the HD tow group is 7650. A good weight distributing/anti-sway hitch and you should be fine towing at or slightly above capacity.

As for the original poster of the video, Im sure it was just 'for the gram' anyway.

Congrats! I think yours is the 3rd Gladiator on RME! Whats the plan? Looks like a Mopar lift in the back. ;)
Mopar Performance 2” lift with Teraflex HD track bar and 37’s for now. Going to upgrade the front bumper and add a warn winch. Also trying to decide between the taser mini or AEV’s snap.

I am planning a switch to a complete 3”-4” system once there are more options out on the market. Currently there aren’t many options available, I spoke with Tera and they should start releasing around Sema time.

Greg, with your ownership so far how would you feel a Gladiator would handle an ultra lite camper? I want to get a slide in camper for extended trips and mtn bike adventures. Been thinking about a power wagon, but a gladiator would be more versatile in a different way.

I think it would do pretty good, based on how well it did towing 5k around. The bed is super short at 5', so factor that in to your decision.

You thinking about a Wedge camper or more like a Four Wheel camper?

Good looking truck Nate. I don’t think I ever posted mine on here. Dempsey at Doug Smith Subaru/Jeep got me a heck of a deal. Ordered it mid July and I’ve had it about a month. Mine has a teraflex 1.5” spacer lift, .75” daystar rear spacer lift, 37” cooper stt pro’s, and American adventure labs hi fender brace with drl’s and inner fenders. I’m loving it.

Here is one we just finished building. Turned out amazing. EVO 6.5" kit, 40" Nitto Muds, and Fuel Zeyphers (not my favorite wheel, but the color is nice.) This is his pavement pounder/weekend wheeler, then he has a fully built buggy for the really hard stuff.
