I will not eat the run of the mill dried up chewing on leather crap.

Pretty much the only store bought jerky I'll eat is Old Trapper peppered.



The kippered single sticks at convenience stores are better than the bags.

The hotter the better. Thompson's is ok. The Samak smokehouse outside of Kamas has some bitchin jerky too. I actually prefer it vs. Thompsons.

Also, Sugarhouse BBQ sells some pretty tasty jerky. A little sweeter than I prefer but nice and juicy and tender and delicous and yumm....jeeerrrrkkyyy

Ford's Meat Locker in Provo. Good turky jerky, but my favorite is their sweet and hot (I think that is what they call it.) I pass their place every day, but I seem to only buy it from their booth at the Utah state fair.

My parents brought me a sweet pork jerky from the Beef Jerky Store in Vegas. Its awesome!!

any kind of sweet and hot is usually good. thompsons is awesome. i wish they would combine the jalapino and teriyaki flavors to make a sweet and hot. but untill they do i get .5 pounds of each sealed in the same bag and leave it in the fridge for a week.
