I went wheeling with a guy who was in a stock S10 a few weeks ago. He showed up just as we were about to head into some private trails on a friends property. He went everywhere I thought he couldn't. Sure showed me. Heh!
At the end of the day, he tells me that he only was there to look at a parts truck. I talked to him like he was a friend and he felt invited, so he came with us. I would have had no problem helping him out all day, if needed. But he didn't need any help. We had a good chuckle, and shared some brats and he did get to look at the parts truck too. He went home with a lot of new body damage and a big grin.
I guess what I am getting at is that I don't judge anyone's vehicle unless it is woefully unprepared.
No doubt you will have tons of fun, and hopefully you don't leave with any more damage than you think is acceptable.
