Lead Poisoning

I'm no vet and may have to get a second opinion from @Houndoc but the dogs found these chukars that appear to have died of lead Poisoning.

We didn't find any the first couple of trips out this year. I seem to have located them now and have done quite well the last couple of weeks. The dogs love it. The mostly brown one is Roxy and she is 13 this year. She still seems to handle the steep, rocky terrain just fine. You'd swear she was 3 when we get into birds. She takes a few extra days to recover but is the first one at the gate for the next trip. Jackson, the mostly white one, is 10 and hasn't slowed down at all.

Are those German short hairs? Hunting with a good pointer is an awesome experience.
Yes, they are. Agreed! There is nothing like hunting behind good pointers. These two make a pretty good team. Jackson ranges a little farther while Roxy stays in closer. They both hold extremely well and both get their fair share of points and retrieves.
