Much to the pleasant surprise of the race teams, the weather at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, UT this past weekend was beautiful to say the least! It was a picture perfect setting for Rounds 7 & 8 of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series.

Jerry Daugherty - Pro 4 #23​

The E3 Spark Plugs Pro 4 of Jerry Daugherty and the entire team have been all over Utah promoting the weekend's events at Miller Motorsports Park. Racing in front of the hometown crowd was great. Much appreciation to all of the fans and friends that attended!
Qualifying 9th on both Saturday and Sunday, Jerry knew that he had to work hard to move to the front. Early in the race, Jerry Daugherty, Corry Weller, and Brandon Bailey were involved in an incident in turn 3. This incident caused the three to be shuffled back in the pack and they all tried to gain position as the race progressed. Jerry Daugherty and the E3 Spark Plugs/ Lucas Oil, General Tire Pro 4 was able to keep out of trouble and bring in a 8th place finish!
Round 8 of racing for the Pro 4 class was extreme to say the least! As trucks flipped, black flags dropped, and parts flew, Jerry Daugherty and the #23 kept consistent and made his way to the front. The green/white/checkered finish of the exciting Pro 4 race ended with Jerry Daugherty and E3 Spark Plugs #23 in 4th place! Great job and great race for Jerry and the entire team while in front of the hometown crowd!

Aaron Daugherty - Pro Lite #23​

Aaron Daugherty and Live Fast Play Dirty Motorsports welcomed a feature partner to their Pro Lite #23 program! The Gun Vault Utah proudly stepped onboard for the LOORS events held in Utah. Sporting a custom new theme provided by Chandler Smith of the Gun Vault, the Lucas Oil./Mickey Thompson Tires/Gun Vault Pro Lite was among the conversations of all at MMP!
Although the qualifying placements weren't what he had hoped, Aaron was certain to be noticed forging his way through the field of 27 trucks. The #23 was fast and determined. Starting within the second half of the field on Saturday in the 20th position, Aaron and the Gun Vault/Mickey Thompson #23 made all take notice as he battled through the field and took the #23 to the 8th spot! Great run for Aaron Daugherty and the #23!!!
Sunday's race began much as that of Saturday's with Aaron needing to work toward the front. Determined to place better than that of Saturday, Aaron was aggressive and had his sights set on the front! Unfortunately, Ryan Hagy had a different idea. In turn 4 of the first lap, Hagy pinned the #23 of Aaron Daugherty against the k rail and proceeded to keep in the gas until the lower arm of the #23 buckled and ended the day for the Gun Vault/ Mickey Thompson Pro Lite #23. Extremely disappointed, Aaron needed a few deep breaths as expected. He then put his energy into the thoughts and considerations for what is needed for Rounds 9 & 10 in Glen Helen.This weekend was a positive movement forward for Aaron Daugherty in the points standings and toward the podium!

Live Fast Play Dirty Kart Drivers Hit the Track at MMP!

The Live Fast Play Dirty Motorsports team is proud to have our kart drivers competing in the LOORS rounds of racing this past weekend!


Mod Kart drivers Tucker Cornia in the #553 and Carson Cornia in the #531 ran great in both races on Saturday and Sunday and are ones to look for in the future of pro drivers for the Live Fast Play Dirty team!

Jr 2 Kart driver, Blaise Daugherty made his pro series debut in the #422! As one of the youngest in the Daugherty racing family, Blaise ran great consistent races and is sure to become a fixture in the racing series.
