As some of you might have seen, I’ve been working on a utv build and posting updates on FB and Instagram.

Since many 4x4 owners also have utvs (whether you’ll admit it or not 😂), here’s your chance to get in on the beadlock wheel giveaway for guessing the final weight of the rig. None of that bullshit raffle stuff, no having to buy swag for entry, no having to tag 3 friends, etc...

By tomorrow (12/1/20), I’ll have the latest update up and it can be found on FB/Insta simply under “Vaughn Werrett”. A set of (4) Tusk aluminum beadlock wheels (any size/style/lug pattern) including shipping within the continental US courtesy of Dose Industries (a sponsor and great Utah company🤘). *In the event of multiple correct answers, I’ll probably ask an obscure question regarding a past update, so consider yourself warned. 😂 Anyway, good luck.

For what it’s worth, here are some current pics of the nonsense...

I don't have much of a baseline on what these things weigh usually....so I'll say 2400 lbs.

IMPORTANT INFO....
You can post guesses here if ya want, but you’ll have to re-post that guess over on FB or Instagram where I’ll be tracking them.

Keep in mind that the starting weight was 1655. I’ve used 20lbs.of mig wire alone, plus a bunch of DOM, very heavy rear steer components, just to name a few parts....

You guys will have until tomorrow to change your guess once the update is up. I may even have it up by later tonight.

UNSTUCK

Just have to join the FB or instagram BS. :D

As for my guess: "$1.00"

You removed a lot of "lame" and "stupid"... and those have to weigh a lot more than "awesome" and "badass". Is it possible it weighs less now?

There are indeed some heavy stock parts, such as the OEM muffler/cat. However, they engineer these chassis to be just barely stout enough to not fold up under normal use, so I did plenty of internal sleeving in places not cut away entirely. At the same time I did my best to not make a tank out of it, which is difficult to avoid. To answer your question, there’s no way for the end result to weigh less, especially with the same type of rear steer parts you’d use on a Jeep or buggy. Let’s just say it weighs considerably, yet reasonably more. 😂
