I'm not sure. I have a Kindle fire, but it's all locked down for the kids. I didn't see any apps in their store for this sort of stuff, but I might see if I can drop my program onto the SD card and transfer it. It'll be a little while before I can do that though.

Appreciate. I only have iThings. So a kindle would be my cheapest option

If I order one I"ll post up how it works.

I ordered that one listed above - plugged it into my Dodge Dakota, ran through the bluetooth connection steps and was able to read the data on my truck with my iphone. The app I downloaded is called 'Car Scanner'. It had good reviews in the app store.
