Hey Paul,

With those super duty shock mounts, How close is your shock to the steering shaft. Did you have to clock it backwards at all?

Hey Tom,
The only thing you have to worry about is the fire wall, I got the shock mount right up on it. That’s on the driver side, the passenger side was a little more work. The heater core housing & AC crap was in the way. If you get a body lift it would be allot easer.
It’s the same as Steve Fox’s write up just different shock mounts. I’m sure you know what I’m talking about.

YUP! :D I plan on bobbing it and moving the axle back about 5". Hopefully that would help. ;)

That would be awesome!

Are you going to make a custom hardtop? Or just buy a soft top and modify it?

My buddy has a soft top on his. He bobbed it and it doesn't look too bad.

Let us know!

Custom soft top, The hard top would be allot of work. Does your buddy live in Provo? There's only one K5 I know of that's bobbed in Utah, he's name is DAVE Cowley. Cool guy.
