Just going to tear this one down and reseal it. Paint it, new injectors and rebuild a spare mechanical injection pump. Then I'll turn up the pump a quarter turn. I'm going to have to go junkyard shopping for a larger radiator, intercooler and oil cooler. Then build the engine mounts. It shouldn't take too long hopefully. I hope to have it done next month.

Well got a lot hooked up yesterday. Mostly electrical. So not a lot to show. Injection pump is wired, cold start advance, glow plugs done starter wired (just need to hook the battery wire up. Still need to rewire the alternator and move the winch wires to the other battery. I've got to much crap hooked to one battery.

Also hooked up the fuel lines. But I'm going to relocate the fuel filter. And add a second filter with a fuel water separator.

Bought two gallons of oil and an oil filter.

I bought a hummer water proof oil dipstick and tube. The tube showed up. Just waiting on the dipstick. Once I get that I'll be almost done.

Radiator is installed. Transmission cooler lines hooked up. Need to rework the lower radiator hose a little. Upper hose is installed.

I need to build a little bracket for my alternator because it's a cs144 (140 amp) alternator. And my alternator won't fit in the stock position.

Then bolt up the transmission. I might try to get a hummer water proof dipstick as well. Since all the breather lines for the transmission and transfercase are run to the snorkle.

Pictures showing some of the tight clearance and stuff that is finished.

Fired it up today. Wow, its a lot quieter than the old engine. Video coming soon. Need to adjust the idle, its way to high. Doesn't smoke, just needs to given 10 seconds of glow plugs. The old engine needed starting fluid almost all the time. But I think the rebuilt injection pump really helps it.
