well progress the past couple days has been SSSLLOOWW been working 12 - 16 hr days at work so haven't had much time to tinker but did manage to get the adapter ring welded on that i had a buddy make for me so I could use the YJ sending unit in the fuel cell and have the pump in the tank. also working on a mod for the pickup so it will be pulling from the center of the tank. its not much but its progress i guess :p

thanks, ya i try to tell her that all the time

as for the jeep one thing that kinda has me "worried" is i noticed the fuel cell dont have any baffling not sure how that will affect the life of the cell.

one thing that kinda has me "worried" is i noticed the fuel cell dont have any baffling not sure how that will affect the life of the cell.

my non-baffled cell wears out senders, and gauges quickly with all of the sloshing. i haven't had any weld failures or cracks in 3 years of driving it every day

Turns out my 6.0 runs a engine oil cooler setup, as for now I'm not going to run it so this is how I switched it over and gained a place for my oil pressure gauge for anyone else that may want to do the same if they run into this.

- 97-2000 Corvette OFAC (GM P/N 12551587)
Has port with metric thread M12 x 1.5
- Cover gasket (GM P/N 12611384)
- Bolts M6 x 30 Grade 8.8 (GM P/N 11588714) x 2
- AutoMeter Part Number 2277
M12 x 1.5 to 1/8in NPT Adaptor

12551587_1_md.jpg <- I assumed p/n 12551587 was a kit like shown when i ordered it from local stealership but all I got was the housing no bolts (org oil cooler bolts are to long) or gasket.
so now im waiting on them to get in to finish putting it on

If down the road i have any engine cooling issue's I'll try running the oil cooler to help bring temps down.

and another question this one pertaining to the coolant temp gauge, im going to be attaching the sender to the radiator the question is would you want it on the inlet side (temp of coolant after running threw the rad.) or the outlet (temp of coolant leaving the engine) im thinking the outlet side but just want to check

Id say outlet of the engine or you will be getting temps off the cooled radiator fluid when you want temp I motor.
